SOFIHDES signed a contract with IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, to offer in Haiti of a new training program, named Business Edge, aimed at strengthening the management capacity of the owners and senior managers Small and Medium Enterprises and increase, thus their performance, competitiveness and profitability.

The two partners expect that training in management techniques positively affect the economic situation of Haiti, where small and medium enterprises focus more than 80% of the total offer of employment.

 



logoSOFIHDES has worked for over the past 15 years with the European Investment Bank. The collaboration is based on the establishment of a line of credit in favor of SOFIHDES. This helps SOFIHDES better address the financial needs of the Haitian Small and Medium Enterprises. SOFIHDES also receive from EIB, Technical Assistance support to strengthen its capabilities in a development perspective.

USAID is a SOFIHDES partner since the establishment of the institution, 28 years ago. Today, USAID puts at our disposal a guarantee fund referred to as "Development Credit Authority" (DCA) to facilitate access to finance for SMEs in Haiti.




logoSOFIHDES is the recipient of a loan of CBHF empowering it to better serve Haitian SMEs a financial point of view.




logo No formal partnership is signed with the CDB. However, SOFIHDES has for several years maintained very cordial relations with the CDB. Collaborations, promoting knowledge transfer are often held between the two institutions.

Also, it is important to note that for several months, the SOFIHDES has promoted among SMEs in Haiti, the technical assistance program of the CDB, called CTCS.

Sporadically, CDB, using the CTCS program, supports seminars organized by the Center for Continuing Education in Management of SOFIHDES, SOFITRAINING.
